Solutions Architect – GraphQL & Kafka – Remote (UK or Europe) – £80,000 to £100,000 – Ref: JB50
We have a new opportunity for Solutions Architect to join an award-winning SaaS scale up. The successful candidate will be joining the product team who make up 50% of the business. Working alongside the 4 x Agile Scrum Squads, you will be responsible for gathering technical and business requirements to design technical solutions leveraging GraphQL, Kafka and Webhooks.
As the Solutions Architect, you will play a key role in designing their technical strategies and architectures, including database and sequence diagrams, without actively engaging in coding. You will ensure their tech solutions are robust, scalable, and meet strategic goals.
Skills, knowledge and Experience required:
- You must have previous experience of working as a Solutions Architect or have worked as a Senior / Lead developer and want to stay technical without the day to day coding or people management
- You must have a good understanding of microservices and distributed systems and the capabilities of GraphQL, Kafka and Webhooks
- You should have demonstrable experience in designing technical solutions for complex software projects with excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think strategically about technology solutions for large scale SaaS environments
