Software Developer – C#, ASP.Net, MVC, Entity Framework, Azure – Remote (UK Based Only) – £45,000 to £60,000 – Ref: JB-130
We have a new opportunity for a Software Developer to join a development team working on white label solutions for clients within the Insurance / Accident & Recovery sectors. This will include working on the enhancement and maintenance of a number of client facing, back office & mobile solutions.
They are a Microsoft environment and use Azure as their cloud platform of choice. Their current tech stack consists of C#, ASP.Net, MVC, Entity Framework and Azure on the backend, with Bootstrap, HTML, CSS and jQuery on the frontend. They also use .NET MAUI for mobile development. We do not expect the successful candidate to have experience in all of these. However, a willingness and desire to learn is essential.
Skills, knowledge and experience required:
- You must have proven experience building web based and back-office solutions using C# / .Net. (This will ideally include working with ASP.Net, MVC and the Entity Framework)
- You will ideally have some experience working on cross platform mobile solutions using either .NET MAUI or Xamarin
- Previous experience working with Microsoft Visual Studio and SQL Server (Management Studio)
- Previous experience of working with Azure / Azure DevOps
- Although you might be backend focused, some exposure to front end tools such as Bootstrap, HTML, CSS and jQuery is preferred
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to talk to non-technical business teams to understand issues and come up with appropriate solutions is highly desirable
- Experience of carrying out peer review for other team members is a real nice to have
