Senior Data Engineer – Remote (UK or Europe) – £75,000 to £90,000 – Ref: JB48
We have a new opportunity for Senior Data Engineer to join an award-winning SaaS scale up. The successful candidate will be joining the product team who make up 50% of the business. As the Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for the development and maintenance of their advanced ETL Pipelines and data sharing solutions. You will be instrumental in helping them enhance their BI and Analytics capabilities, while providing innovative data solutions to meet their customer needs.
Skills, knowledge and Experience required:
- You must have a few years previous experience in a similar role, (ideally within fast paced scaling environment) where you were responsible for designing and building data sharing solutions
- You should have demonstrable experience of designing, implementing and maintaining large scale ETL processes and pipelines,
- You must have great experience of Python and Pandas (other data processing libraries will be considered) as well as strong SQL experience with regards to RDMS
The ideal candidate will be familiar with cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and big data tools (Hadoop, spark Kafka). Other nice to have non-essential requirements include experience with data visualisation tools and NoSQL Databases (MongoDB, Cassandra, DynamoDB)
