A forward-thinking robotics firm developing autonomous ground systems is expanding its autonomy division. They’re searching for a Robotics Autonomy Engineer to help drive the next generation of navigation, localisation, and control systems.
What You’ll Be Doing

Develop and optimise algorithms for perception, mapping, and motion planning

Integrate multi-sensor data to achieve robust localisation in dynamic environments

Work closely with systems engineers to deploy and validate autonomy features

Profile performance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement

Collaborate with hardware teams to align software capabilities with system design
Skills, Knowledge and Experience

Strong background in robotics software engineering using C++ and Python

Experience with ROS and real-world deployments of autonomous systems

Deep understanding of sensor fusion, SLAM, or motion control algorithms

Solid grounding in software optimisation and debugging

Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline
