Product Operations Lead: Engineering & Delivery Execution

High-Growth Industrial AI

£65,000 – £75,000

100% remote role – UK residency required

AI organisations are everywhere, but few are tackling problems where the stakes involve global infrastructure and environmental sustainability.  We ship hardened, first-principles-based AI that manages high-scale industrial assets in live production environments. The complexity of our vertical is unmatched, and we are solving some of the most pressing challenges in the modern industrial world.

We are a well-capitalised, rapidly scaling startup transitioning from initial validation to global implementation with a growing pipeline of international clients. Our model does not rely on ARR style arrangements, with ‘churn’ a regular feature of our sales trajectory. We are an embedded partner to our client base, working integrally with their teams, our relationships are built on strong foundations built over decades.

To support this expansion, we need a strategic execution partner to ensure our delivery is transparent and reliable without falling into the trap of bureaucratic overhead or inflexible methodologies.

This is a high-impact, high-agency position. We aren’t looking for a “Scrum Master” to mandate rigid routines or a passive administrative coordinator. We need an expert navigator of ambiguity who knows how to maintain shipping momentum for a world-class engineering team.

You will own the mechanics of delivery:

Engineering Execution: You will establish systematic workflow hygiene within Jira, ensuring the environment is optimised so engineers can focus on development rather than task management.

Adaptive Flow: You will lead planning and delivery cycles based on practical value, tailoring rituals to the team’s immediate needs rather than forcing a “standardised” framework.

Operational Bridge: You will act as the primary link between core platform engineering and customer-aligned product teams, ensuring global commitments are backed by realistic capacity.

Transparency: You will provide proactive, “no-surprises” reporting to the leadership team, highlighting potential risks and trade-offs before they impact delivery.

We value “battle-tested” experience over theoretical certifications.

Operational Background: 3+ years in Product Operations or Technical Delivery Management within highly technical engineering environments.

Technical Fluency: Able to engage in nuanced discussions regarding AI development trade-offs and complex industrial constraints.

Results-Oriented: You find genuine satisfaction in unblocking teams and can lead effectively through periods of rapid change.

Collaboration: You thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting where collective success is the priority.

The calibre of our team is world-class, with veterans from some of the most successful global tech firms. We operate a “low-ego” culture that prioritises clarity, velocity, and accountability over administrative perfection. Expect a voice at the table and a genuine chance to shape the organisations direction.  You are the first boots on the ground we will be building operations around you.

This is not a maintenance role; you are joining to help us scale a successful startup into a global industry standard, benefitting from our success as we grow by building a career and earning potential that is in pace with our ambitious growth strategy.

Apply If you have the hands-on experience to lead operations for one of the most challenging AI problems today, we want to hear from you.
