A dynamic and purpose-driven organization at the forefront of tech-enabled solutions is seeking a Portfolio Manager to establish and lead their portfolio office function. This is a greenfield opportunity to define and implement best-in-class portfolio management practices, driving the successful delivery of critical strategic initiatives.

This role may also be well-suited to a highly experienced PMO Lead with a proven track record of working within newly founded portfolios, seeking their next career step into a dedicated Portfolio Management role.

In this high-visibility role, you will:

  • Design and implement a comprehensive portfolio management framework from the ground up.
  • Establish portfolio governance, prioritization mechanisms, and project intake processes.
  • Translate business strategy into actionable technology initiatives.
  • Oversee portfolio performance, ensuring robust KPI reporting and benefits realization.
  • Provide strategic insights and recommendations to executive leadership, influencing key decisions.
  • Cultivate strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, fostering collaboration and alignment.

We are looking for a candidate with:

  • Significant experience in portfolio management or similar strategic roles, or extensive PMO leadership experience with a focus on portfolio establishment.
  • A proven track record of managing complex portfolios and delivering large-scale change.
  • Expertise in portfolio management methodologies, tools, and techniques.
  • Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
  • A passion for driving positive change and making a real difference.
