Platform Engineer / DevOps Engineer Is sought to join our expanding AI venture. Our leadership team has already brought together leading minds in the field from Amazon, Meta, Google and Microsoft. We are now expanding our teams further with a focus on sustainable growth and proven commercially viable use cases for AI. Our platform is already being utilised by leading brands, addressing real-world problems we are focused on the next chapter of AI human interaction. 

We are seeking the first boots on the ground for our DevOps function. This is an opportunity to play a key role in the building out of a global scale DevOps function capable of managing large Language models, the successful individual will utilise their extensive knowledge in the Platform  / DevOps space to design, manage and enhance our production environments. The company is scaling rapidly as demand for our services increases, the successful individual, in addition to their extensive knowledge of cloud, will enjoy working in start up / scale up environments. The company operates a flat hierarchy as much as possible, inviting collaboration between all of our teams. We look for highly capable individuals with the confidence to speak out but also the humility to learn from others, regardless of age or title. The role is wide and varied and the successful party can expect a wide and varied role that will evolve with the company’s expansion. Tasks will include:

Infrastructure Architect:

Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices (e.g., Terraform) to ensure consistent and high-quality infrastructure.

Implementing performance baselines and efficient delivery pipelines to ensure smooth operations.

Prioritize security and compliance by establishing robust production health and security posture.

Technical Leader:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize private network configurations and elevate overall system security.

Champion the adoption of best practice and impactful solutions that promote engineering excellence.

CI/CD Champion:

Lead the development and refinement of CI/CD processes to accelerate deployment cycles and boost team efficiency.

Collaborative Problem Solver:

Actively participate in deploying new features and services, troubleshooting, and resolving infrastructure challenges.

Innovation Catalyst:

Explore, prototype, and productionize advanced infrastructure solutions (e.g., similar to Virtual Private Clouds) to extend platform capabilities.

Continuously research and propose new technologies and methodologies to drive sustained innovation and improvement.

Successful applicants will display a solid understanding of the technologies below, along with a career path that has included startup or fast-paced scale of experience. Extensive experience with major cloud providers (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).

Demonstrated ability to monitor, optimize, and improve security posture continuously.

Strong understanding of CI/CD methodologies.

background including solid experience in container orchestration, such as Kubernetes.

Passion for technology and a commitment to continuous learning.

Expert in IaC practices, particularly Terraform.

However, we are also keen to have a diverse team and recognise that work and life must work together.
