.Net Developer – Web & Mobile (MAUI or Xamarin) – C#, ASP.Net, MVC, Azure – Remote (UK Based Only) – £45,000 to £55,000 – Ref: JB-130
We are currently on the hunt for a .Net Developer to join a growing team who are responsible for building modern, white-label, cross-platform solutions mainly aimed at the Insurance and Accident Recovery sectors. The .Net Developer will play a key role in enhancing existing client-facing and back-office systems, as well as contributing to the development of a brand-new cross-platform mobile application using .NET MAUI.
This is a fully remote role, open to UK-based candidates only. You must have full right to work in the UK as we are unable to offer sponsorship at this time.
About the Tech Stack
They are a Microsoft-first environment using Azure as their cloud platform of choice. The current stack includes:
- Mobile: .NET MAUI (previously Xamarin)
- Backend: C#, ASP.Net, MVC, Entity Framework, Azure
- Frontend: Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, jQuery
- Tooling: Visual Studio, SQL Server Management Studio
You do not need to have experience in every area, but we are looking for someone with hands-on experience building both web and mobile applications using .NET and either .NET MAUI or Xamarin.
Essential Skills, knowledge & Experience
- Recent commercial experience of building cross-platform mobile apps using .NET MAUI or Xamarin
- Strong background in C#/.Net for web or back-office applications (ideally with ASP.Net, MVC, and Entity Framework)
- Experience working with Azure, or another major cloud platform such as AWS
- Comfortable using Visual Studio and SQL Server
Desirable Skills, knowledge and Experience:
- Some frontend knowledge using Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, or jQuery
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with non-technical stakeholders to understand issues and shape solutions
- Experience performing peer code reviews is a definite bonus
