We have a new opportunity for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join a well-established agency who specialise in building high traffic ecommerce and ticketing solutions for the entertainment and music industry. The successful candidate will be joining a relaxed and friendly team who are passionate about delivering excellence and value for their clients. These clients are some of the biggest, and most well know names in the business. As a company they follow the Scrum Methodology with JIRA being their administration tool of choice.

As a Senior within the team, alongside day to day coding, you will work with the Account Manager’s and PMO team in the early-stage feasibility / architecture discussions to help provide estimates and build out the Jira tickets.

Although this is a full stack role, we are looking for someone with a bias towards Frontend70% of your time will be spent on frontend tasks with the remainder on the backend and API’s. All new development will be done using React / Next.js, TypeScript and Node.js on AWS utilising Jamstack architecture. In the past they were using PHP / WordPress, and still have a number of legacy systems they support. Any experience with these technologies is a nice to have, but non-essential requirement, as they do have other engineers in house who can support these.

Skills, knowledge and experience required:

  • You must have a solid, stable background of working in client led agency and / or ecommerce environments, with the ability to switch between projects with little fuss
  • You should be comfortable utilising the Jamstack architecture and building solutions using React / Next.js and TypeScript
  • Although this is a frontend heavy role, we do need someone with good backend development experience using either Node.js or PHP
  • Practical experience with Cloud Infrastructure and AWS Services is preferred

Nice to have “non-essential” skills, knowledge and experience

  • Experience of working on high-traffic ecommerce / ticketing systems for the music, entertainment or similar industries would be a real plus.

The role is remote first, but we do need the successful candidate to be based in the UK with full right to work.
