We are seeking an experienced Lead Salesforce Developer to take ownership of our Salesforce development function and Two senior Developers to support that individual, you are all joining at a pivotal time in the organisation with a large roadmap of change in place for the coming years.
You’ll be joining a newly formed team, working alongside a team of Salesforce administrators and wider Technology team. All of these position will play a key role in our Salesforce-driven transformation and helping us modernise our technology landscape.
The lead role is a ‘hands-on’ leadership role where you will shape the future of our Salesforce applications, working across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, Marketing Cloud, and Data Cloud. working alongside two Senior Developers that are also being recruited for.
Alongside the core Salesforce development work, you’ll also help drive integration projects with MuleSoft and maintain a best-in-class approach to security, scalability, and automation.
There will be an occasional need to travel to our offices in St Albans and Wakefield.

What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead and mentor a team of two Salesforce Developers, fostering growth and innovation.
- Oversee the design, coding, and implementation of Salesforce applications.
- Build and customise Apex code, Visualforce pages, and Lightning Components.
- Work closely with Product, Security, and Release teams to integrate cloud services.
- Ensure smooth data migration, integration, and API connectivity (MuleSoft, REST/SOAP APIs).
- Take charge of testing, security, and release readiness, ensuring best practices.
- Act as a technical advisor to senior management, identifying risks and opportunities.
Who We’re Looking For
- Proven leadership experience in a Salesforce development environment.
- Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and JavaScript.
- Experience integrating Salesforce with enterprise systems using MuleSoft.
- Deep knowledge of Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Data Cloud.
- Up to date with Salesforce 2025 Release Readiness and modern best practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills, able to work at pace in a dynamic environment.
- Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Platform Developer) are highly desirable.
