A forward-thinking robotics firm developing autonomous ground systems is expanding its autonomy division. They’re searching for a Robotics Autonomy Engineer to help drive the next generation of navigation, localisation, and control systems.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Develop and optimise algorithms for perception, mapping, and motion planning

  • Integrate multi-sensor data to achieve robust localisation in dynamic environments

  • Work closely with systems engineers to deploy and validate autonomy features

  • Profile performance, troubleshoot issues, and contribute to continuous improvement

  • Collaborate with hardware teams to align software capabilities with system design

Skills, Knowledge and Experience

  • Strong background in robotics software engineering using C++ and Python

  • Experience with ROS and real-world deployments of autonomous systems

  • Deep understanding of sensor fusion, SLAM, or motion control algorithms

  • Solid grounding in software optimisation and debugging

  • Degree in Robotics, Computer Science, or related engineering discipline
