Mark brings 26 years of technology recruitment expertise to H&H, having made 6,906+ placements at Hurren & Hope since 2013. He has worked both internally and as an RPO partner director with international recruitment agencies, giving him unique insight into the challenges organisations face when scaling technical teams.

Starting his career at major agencies including Hays and Adecco, Mark quickly recognized the gap between what technology companies needed and what traditional recruitment delivered. This insight led him to co-found H&H in 2013, built on the principle of genuine consultancy rather than transactional CV sending.

He specializes in placing senior developers, solution architects, CTOs, and technical leaders for everything from venture-backed startups to established software companies, consistently delivering results: reducing average time to hire from 8 weeks to around 3 for repeat clients, and building complete development teams for 12+ startups.

Notable clients include De La Rue, Penguin Random House, BuilderAI, Finch Capital, Capita, and Deloitte. Mark also founded Amplify OnDemand, providing flexible hiring solutions, and a dedicated offering for fast-scaling startups and VC portfolio companies.
