Lead Software Engineer – C++, Cyber Security – Remote (UK Based) / London – £65,000 to £75,000 – Ref: J556440
We have an opportunity for a Lead Software Engineer to join a Cyber Security scale-up. We are looking for someone with a strong background in C++ and experience of leading small teams, projects and / or scrum ceremonies. Senior Engineers looking to make a step up into a lead role will also be considered but you must be confident in your ability to set objectives for your team.
The C++ Lead Software Engineer will be joining the Core Software Development team, where you will be responsible for architecting, designing and developing highly scalable, complex real time (multi-threaded / multi-processing) solutions in C++. You will also help drive the adoption of TDD and other best practices.
Skills, knowledge and experience required:
- You will ideally be degree educated in a relevant discipline
- You should have a strong background in architecting, designing and developing highly scalable, complex real-time solutions using C++
- Experience of leading agile teams, including goal / objective setting and resolving conflicts
- Good understanding of TDD.
The role is remote first, but we do need the successful candidate to be based within the UK and have full right to work.
