Founding Engineer – Full Stack, Start-up, React, Node.js, TypeScript, AWS – London / Hybrid – £70,000 to £110,000 + Equity – Ref: JB-28
We have a new opportunity for a Founding Engineer (Full Stack) to join a well backed start-up / scale-up who are building a brand-new SaaS platform to disrupt an entire industry. The main tech stack consists of Next.js, React, Typescript, Node.js, GraphQL, Docker, PostgreSQL, AWS and Terraform. We do not expect you to have experience of all, but you must have demonstrable recent commercial experience with React, Node.js, TypeScript and AWS.
The role would suit someone who loves working in innovative fast paced environments. You will enjoy solving problems, influencing the product direction and building beautifully crafted B2B SaaS Solutions from the ground up.
The Full Stack Engineer will be joining a team of likeminded individuals who love to solve business problems. From the get-go you will be writing a lot of code! As well as getting your hands dirty with coding, you will also be getting involved with the technical architecture, infrastructure, DevOps, and everything in between.
Skills, knowledge and experience required:
- Prior experience of working in VC backed start-up / scale-up environments where the pressure is on, and scale happens rapidly
- You should have a few years proven experience of building B2B SaaS products using all of the following: React, Node.js, TypeScript and AWS
- You will be comfortable liaising with the internal product teams to understand the commercial impact of what you are building
This is a hybrid role where you will be required to come into their London office 3 days a week.
