Our values

No ‘do no harm’ or equally hollow statements here. Our values form the pillars we have built our company culture on.

Always learning

We developed our in-house academy after struggling to find a training partner who recognised recruitment as not a sales role. Every new recruit is onboarded through our academy, learning skills in emotional intelligence, negotiation and consultancy. We continue to invest meaningful time and money in every step of our team’s career path.

We regularly invite external coaches from all walks of life to work with the team. Learning is a journey; the minute we think we know it all, we display that we truly know nothing. An open mind is a growing one.

Integrity

We ran sessions with the team to establish what we truly believe integrity is. We boiled it down to making the right choices when no one else is watching. Accountability is something we rate highly at Hurren & Hope.

Strong sales figures at the expense of the very people we serve are not an option! The team meets regularly to ensure we are all up to scratch, and we have worked hard to build a culture that will call out poor practices.

Collaboration

Our relationships go further than skin deep, both with our clients and our internal colleagues. We regularly socialise together and we focus the team on the greater good of the people we are working for.

Those of us coming from other recruitment environments grew tired of the Wolf of wall street approach. Our bonus structures reward teamwork and experience has proved we are stronger together.

Hope days

Every quarter Hurren & Hope supports charities and organisations that serve our wider community. We are normally out of the office in the afternoon on Hope days, acting on our values, not just talking about them. A member of the team, who has a charity they would like to support, organises each Hope Day, allowing us to give something back.

If you are a charity or not-for-profit who could benefit from a hope day, get in touch.

Our culture

The rules are no different for us than they are for any of the employers we work with. Culture is crucial to a company’s success.

Many of our hires are from outside of the recruitment marketplace. We have Police Officers, Nurses, and ex-forces individuals all under our roof, all of them sharing our values and commitment to service.

Our training has enabled each of them to build successful communities within their field of work. We recruit with our values front and centre. Industry experience is of no value to us if it doesn’t come with integrity.
